Experience and training:

Dr. Pam Etchegoyen was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and after finishing high school she moved to California to continue her education. Dr. Etchegoyen received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis in 2010. During that time, she gained an eclectic background working as a research assistant at the UC Davis Equine Athletic Performance Lab as junior specialist while also working in the UC Davis goat and dairy barns; as a lab animal technician in antibody research, student intern at the small animal surgery UC Davis VMTH and assistant for the California State Fair in the farm animal nursery.

Continuing education:

The field of veterinary medicine is constantly growing and evolving with new techniques and medical advancement. Dr. Etchegoyen completes more than her yearly requirements of continued education credits to ensure your pet received the best care.

Special interest:

In 2012, Dr. Etchegoyen moved to Manhattan, Kansas to continue her veterinary studies, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in May 2016. During those years, Dr. Etchegoyen developed interest in small animal internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, public health, and preventative care.

Helping you keep your pets healthy:

After graduating with her veterinary degree, Dr. Pam worked in a general practice veterinary hospital for small animals in Modesto, where she gained experience in different surgical procedures and continued to advance her knowledge in internal medicine cases, surgery and preventative care.

In her spare time, you can find her hiking local trails, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, jogging, and spending time with her furry black feline, Bagheera (aka El Gato), and family. She looks forward to meeting you and your beloved pets soon.
